This video portrait is a tribute to Steve Dalachinsky (1946 - 2019), a renowned poet and artist in New York city, connected to the local, vibrant avant-garde and jazz scene. The short documentary features an interview with Dalachinsky, talking about the meaning of being a poet and telling anecdotes and trivia about his career and private life. It also includes some special performance excerpts. The film, by Robert O'Haire & Jeff Burns, was produced by Straw2gold Pictures in 2013.
